Terms & Conditions for Science Parties

1. Booking and Payment

   • A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure the booking.

   • The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days before the event.

   • Payments can be made via bank transfer.

2. Party Duration & Group Size

   • Party duration are as follows:

     • 1-Hour Package: 1 hour of activities + 30 minutes for setup and clean-up.

     • 2-Hour Package: 1.5 hours of activities + 30 minutes for setup, break and clean -up.

   • The base price covers up to 10 children. Additional children are charged per child.

3. Health & Safety

   • All participants must follow the Health & Safety instructions provided by Lab Rascals staff during the party.

   • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided and must be worn as directed.

   • Children must wear shoes at all times during the activities.

   • Supervision: Any child who requires additional support must have an assistant present during the party.

   • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children follow safety instructions.

   • Liability: Lab Rascals is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur due to failure to follow safety guidelines.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

   • Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

   • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.

   • Rescheduling is allowed with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability.

5. Venue Requirements

   • The party host must provide a suitable space for the activities (indoor space with access to a flat surface, ideally with sufficient seating and tables).

   • A clear path for the equipment setup and access to a power source (standard 13-amp socket) must be provided.

   • Access to a wash sink and water must be provided.

6. Parking

   • A parking space must be available for loading and unloading of equipment. Any additional parking costs will be charged to the party host.

7. Photography and Social Media

   • By attending a Lab Rascals event, parents/guardians consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during the party for marketing purposes unless otherwise stated.

8. General

   • Lab Rascals reserves the right to alter or cancel any booked party if unforeseen circumstances arise, with a full refund provided.

   • The party host agrees to adhere to the terms and conditions stated above and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
