Fizzy Reactions & Bath Bombs - Barton 5+

Service Description

Step into the lab for a fun and fizz-filled workshop! Children will work in pairs to create two exciting fizzy reactions, one that gets hot and another that turns cold, while discovering the science behind these bubbling experiments. Afterwards, each child will independently create two bath bombs to take home, choosing their own colours and scents to make them truly unique. It’s a perfect blend of hands-on science and creativity! Additional Information: Lab coats will be provided to help protect clothing, although please note that some dyes may cause light staining. During the fizzy reactions section, children will work in pairs. This ensures everyone gets hands-on experience while helping to reduce health and safety risks when handling reagents. Working together also allows us to complete two exciting reactions instead of just one! For the bath bomb activity, each child will work independently, creating and decorating their own bath bombs to take home. Our scientists will be on hand to guide and assist where needed, but we encourage children to take ownership of their creations. Parents are welcome to stay and support, particularly for younger children.
